A nice and cozy restaurant to get a good meal. It seems pretty popular with the locals and for good reason. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick. The portions are just right, too. Oh, and they have live music

It’s a delicious Brazilian restaurant, it has a pretty good meats and I fully recommend pão de queijo to start. The attention was good and the waitress was really helpful.

Best kept secret on Kent Island... Exceptional food and service! I don't know what kind of magic occurs in the kitchen, but the seafood dishes here are divine! I stopped ordering mahi in any of the regional seafood-centric restaurants because it had become such a consistently unpleasant experience. I don't know whether the fish is fresher here or if it's all in the (magically delicious!) preparation, but Frix's Brazilian steak house excels at seafood! Wonderfully friendly service too!

The crab dip was pretty good and the jalapeno poppers and the dipping sauce were amazing. The kids loved their plates. The mahi mahi was delicious. Anderson was the perfect waiter and we'll definitely be making a return trip.

We visited Frix’s on Tuesday, right before dinner began for the evening. What an awesome gem! The restaurant itself felt upscale and clean, and the entrees we ordered were delicious. We’ve had a hard time finding a steakhouse with actual steak on the children’s menu, so this was a real treat for our daughter. Our first waitress had short brown hair and she didn’t really do a great job at checking on us. We sat without a drink refill for about 30 minutes until a new blonde waitress took over, and promptly took care of us. She was great. The creme brûlée I’d ordered for dessert didn’t have that iconic hard torched top so that was disappointing, but overall the food was excellent. After we paid our bill, I noticed that the first waitress charged us for a Michelob Ultra even though we didn’t order any alcohol. I don’t usually check the itemized receipt but I was curious about how much the desserts were since it was a verbal menu. We didn’t bother going through a refund process because we didn’t want to risk having 300 pending for several days until everything cleared correctly, versus the 150 that our check totaled with the error.

Delicious food!!! The Southwest Pastel basket was AMAZING!!!!!!! the soup was INCREDIBLE! My Bife Acebolado was so tender and DELICIOUS!!! My husband ordered the chicken meal. He wasn't impressed. It was simple and light. Tasted good just simple. Would absolutely recommend!

It’s getting harder to find great food at lunchtime with so many restaurants limiting their hours due to staff shortages. I found my way to Frix’s. The food is the main draw. During my meal I noticed many patrons didn’t need a menu. They were returning for a fix of their favorite dish - a different dish for each. I had the mahi-mahi entree and it was wonderful - smoky, sweet with a hint of spice. The service was fantastic. Once you get past the strip mall, the restaurant is cozy.

Had a wonderful dining and beverage experience here today. The Steak Stroganoff was spot on! Sat in the Bar area and the Bartender was very attentative and ensured my drink and food needs were taken care of. The atmosphere in the bar was great and I really had a great time! I've eaten carry out from here but never experienced the restraunt/bar until today...it was awesome and I highly recommend you give them a try!
